program
workshops and residencies
Each month, the program offers intensive workshops and residencies led by international guest artists.
Typically, these activities last one full week. In this context, workshops are designed to give trainees direct access to diverse choreographic practices, artistic methodologies, and professional working processes.
For the current season, the program hosts ten international choreographers, carefully selected for their active presence within the contemporary dance scene. Through daily classes, creative laboratories, and research-based practices, guest artists support participants in developing technical skills, artistic awareness, and professional readiness.
Residencies, on the other hand, last several weeks and focus on the creation of an original performance work. At the end of each residency, a public presentation takes place. As a result, students can engage directly with professional creation processes and performance contexts. The resulting works will be presented during Spazio CRUDO 2026/2027 in Bologna.
Moreover, all teachers and guest artists involved in the program are established professionals currently working in international productions. For this reason, the training remains up to date, grounded in contemporary practice, and aligned with current and future developments in dance and performing arts.
