Based in Bologna, the center develops national and international projects and acts as a social and cultural reference point for the promotion of the arts, connecting local communities with a broader international vision.
Founded in 2008, Leggere Strutture began its activities in a former industrial space transformed into a dance production center. Since then, it has taken part in numerous festivals and presented a wide range of live performances.

Training Programs
Since 2009, Leggere Strutture has developed Art Factory International (AFI), an international professional training program focused on the artistic and career development of young dancers. AFI offers full-time training from October to May, combining technical training with choreographic research and artistic creation.
The Platform is a host to monthly Workshops and Residencies featuring Internationally renowned choreographers and artists with focus on widening the attendees’ knowledge and enriching the workshop participants’ experiences, visions and professional competences.
Art Factory International has been offering participants the opportunity to build their own artistic identity with solid technical and creative foundations through our international professional training program for contemporary dancers.
In 2019, the organization launched Anfibia, a multidisciplinary training program dedicated to performers and emerging contemporary creators. Directed by Carlo Massari, Anfibia is an immersive pathway that brings together theater, dance, music, singing, circus, and performance. The program integrates daily practical training in body and voice, theoretical studies, organizational and management skills, and monthly workshops with internationally renowned artists. Participants are also supported in the development and presentation of their own artistic projects.
The programs consistently has had an open and up-to-date vision of the international dance and performing arts scenes, promoting dance excellence and aiming to disseminate the art and culture of dance in order to train individuals prepared for future entry into the artistic and professional world.
